Basic Info BioHi. I'm Bethany. Your first impression of me was most likely wrong. My life varies between the insanely normal and the normally insane. I think I'm complicated. But sometimes I think that I just want to think that to make life more interesting.
Who am I?
I'm a writer with chronic writer's block; an avid reader who never gets around to the most important books; a romantic who doesn't know what it's like to fall in love(and is afraid of it anyway); an ambitious procrastinator; a practical daydreamer; a mature college student who often wishes she could go back to being a kid again; a Christian who doesn't always practice what she preaches; an introvert who loves talking to people; a shy person with a growing sense of confidence; an opinionated individual who often goes along with the crowd; and a self-reliant, do-it-yourself kind of girl who is gradually realizing she can't fix everything on her own.
What else?
I read about five books a week, when I have that many on hand. I can spend hours in the library. I love smiling at random people, because it makes the nice and/or lonely ones happy and annoys the grumpy ones. I love spending time with all the people I care most about in one place. It takes me a long time to warm up to people, but if I get attached to you, watch out, I won't get unattached in a hurry. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and that God is in control of every aspect of my life. I just need help remembering it sometimes. But I'm getting better at it.
